Protective measures to contain COVID-19
With these protective measures, taking into account hygiene, infection control and distance rules, we would like to conduct the "Next Level - Festival of Games 2021" (NLF21 for short) in such a way that the further spread of the coronavirus in the population through infection among guests, participants and staff during the visit of NLF21 on the grounds of the Zollverein Foundation is prevented as far as possible.
Persons with a higher risk of severe COVID-19 disease (source: https://www.rki.de/DE/Content/InfAZ/N/Neuartiges_Coronavirus/Risikogruppen.html) are advised not to attend the event.
The 2G (Vaccinated or Recovered) rule applies to the admission of all visitors aged 16 and over. (Proof and identification document are required for admission).
Unvaccinated children and young people up to 16 years of age may enter the festival with a daily negative coronary test (rapid test or PCR test). The test result must be certified by an officially approved testing centre.
Other protective measures include
- Wearing a medical mask inside the premises, of the Next Level Festival. Additionally on the outside areas, if the minimum distance of 1.5 m cannot be kept.
- Keeping a distance of 1.5 m
- Regular washing or disinfecting of hands
- Control access and avoid queues
Changes are possible and are based on the Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia valid for the event period.
